Recipes

I think I would have made a pretty good Mrs. Pumpkin Eater. You know the old nursery rhyme…

Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater
Had a wife and couldn’t keep her.
He put her in a pumpkin shell
And there he kept her very well.

As long as there was a coffee maker and a case of cinnamon I would have been fine.

These recipes are some of the best of the best pumpkin treats for the fall. If you’re stocked with tins of Libby’s or have an uncarved pumpkin waiting for purpose, these recipes will deliver on flavor, warm to the tummy goodness.

There are few greater joys than sipping a pumpkin spiced coffee while dining on a pumpkin scone straight out of the oven. These orange globes are key to some of the yummiest food on earth.

A cup of coffee with a pumpkin scone is my ultimate favorite fall treat! Scones are easier to make than you think. In fact your job is to NOT overwork the dough, as it gives it that light biscuit texture.

Pumpkin Carving

Who doesn’t love a carved pumpkin? I love seeing creativity pop onto the faces of these giant orange fruit. However it does take me a moment to rev up the desire to carve a pumpkin. My least favorite part keeps me putting off the task, but it’s the first thing you have to do.

Gut that pumpkin.

Guess what? It can be easier than you ever thought.
